Scott Bailey Gagain
Owner / Executive Producer
A 20+ year veteran of the motion capture and animation industry, Scott Gagain is the founder of Gain Productions. Previously, Scott was the executive producer for House of Moves and VP of Sales and Marketing for Motion Analysis Studios. Throughout the years, Scott has cultivated strong working relationships through being a team player, having a clear understanding of client needs, and delivering at the highest level. This reputation has allowed his teams to work on some of the most influential video games, television and feature film productions of our time including games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Gears of War 3, Resident Evil 5 and Left for Dead 2 to Spiderman 2, I Robot, Fantastic Four and Tron: Legacy on the feature film side.
Currently, Scott and Gain Productions Inc. are developing socially conscious virtual reality content.
Vince Argentine
Technical Supervisor
A veteran in the performance capture industry, Vincent has worked in every facet of virtual production over the last decade. After graduating from the art institute in 2007, he was immediately hired as animation lead on the national geographic television series "Fight Science". Shortly after he would be offered a position at House of Moves as facial capture specialist on "Spider Man 2". While at HOM Vince would learn valuable skills working both on set and in post production on several AAA game titles including "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Tiger Woods PGA Tour. These skills would lead him to his role as Motion Capture Supervisor with Just Cause Productions where he would manage production on Capcom's Resident Evil 5 & 6, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Mirror's Edge 2. He would eventually start his own company, Mocap Militia, to help provide superior quality post processing of mocap data for clients around the globe. Recognized for his technical expertise he would add to his already impressive resume with his involvement on blockbuster films such as "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", with WETA Digital, Marvel's "Ant Man" and most recently "Deadpool" with Tim Miller and the team at Blur Studios.
Charles Victor Ghislandi
Technical Advisor
A 16 year veteran of the motion capture industry, Chuck got started at Midway Games in Chicago in 2000 getting his feet wet on projects like NFL Blitz to Mortal Kombat: Deception. Taking what he learned in the game world, he then took a senior position at Sony Imageworks handling technical animation and scene assembly for the Robert Zemekis films "Polar Express" and "Monster House". After wrapping production, he would accept the role of lead cinematic animator, reacquainting himself with the team at Midway Games on Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and MK Shao Lin Monks. Shortly after he was hired as animation director for TNA Impact Wrestling at Midway LA. With his expanded knowledge he found himself even more intrigued by the potential of the process and wanted to challenge himself technically. It was fitting that he would join forces with Vicon as entertainment product manager. Here he would gain an extensive amount of technical expertise working as part of the software development team for one of the leading motion capture companies in the world. Chuck would continue his career path with companies like THQ and Game On Audio where he would lead the motion capture and animation teams for the UFC and WWE properties as well as Batman Arkham Origins and Mad Max. More recently, he teamed with Animatrik on the blockbuster hit "The Jungle Book" directed by John Favreau where he was credited for his on set work as simulcam technician. Chuck is a true specialist in the field of virtual production and is currently the production manager at 2K Games.
Sean Stanek
Director / Production Supervisor
Sean comes from the feature film world where he worked alongside James Cameron as VFX coordinator on the Academy Award winning "Titanic". Inspired by the process, he went on to write and direct his own creations, winning Best Screenplay for his film "Played" (Lionsgate) at the Malibu Film Festival in 2007.
Sean then served as motion capture producer at Sony Imageworks on the Robert Zemekis films "Monster House" and "Beowulf". Shortly after, he took the position as Head of Stage Production at House of Moves where he helped to build the full performance sound stage and ultimately where he polished his on set skills in the motion capture arena on groundbreaking games such as Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West & Uncharted: Among Thieves to name a few. This influence led him to the role of director of cinematics and voice over for the game titles Splinter Cell: Conviction and Infamous 2. Sean also worked at SCEA in San Diego as technical director on Killzone 3 and Socom's Navy Seals and continues his passion for story telling with the use of performance capture technology today.
Kevin Schooler
Technical Advisor
Kevin Schooler has been working with Motion Capture technology for over 15 years in the Film, Broadcast, Video Game, Education and Live Event industries. Working for companies such as Sony Pictures, Walt Disney Imagineering, SCEA and Autodesk, he has gained a wealth of technical expertise with credits ranging from films such as The Matrix Reloaded, I, Robot, Monster House and Beowulf to Killzone: Shadow Fall, and The Order: 1886 on the video game side. His diverse workload and knowledge of his craft have allowed him the unique opportunity to travel, live and work all over the world.
